Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to Things delighted (3447753-6) and the customer who makes a purchase at thingsdelighted.com.
In order to place a purchase with Things delighted you must be over 16 years old. If you are under 16, your guardian is obliged to place an order with us.
Things delighted reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time, but the terms and conditions accepted during your purchase will always be valid for that purchase. All changes to the terms and conditions are reflected in the most recent version that’s visible on thingsdelighted.com.
Shipping policy
Things delighted aims to have your orders ready for shipping within one (1) week of receiving the order confirmation. Made-to-order items are always specified, along with the estimated shipping time, on the product page. Please note that since our products are handmade that there is a risk of delays, for example due to sickness or other unforeseen reasons.
In the case of a planned delay (e.g. due to vacations), it will be clearly indicated on the website and on product page before placing the order. In the case of unplanned delay, Things delighted is committed to inform you as soon as it becomes clear that the original timeline cannot be met and will inform you about the next steps.
Please note that in case of potential custom order items, the general shipping policies do not apply and shipping timelines will be agreed separately.
The delivery cost within Finland is 9,90€. Things delighted uses Posti to deliver the orders as trackable parcels, either as a small parcel delivered to a mailbox or as a regular parcel delivered to Posti or a Posti service point. The choice between these two depends on the size of the parcel. In case a order is placed which is larger than what’s currently in stock on thingsdelighted.com, our regular shipping cost does not apply and it will instead be based on the size of the parcel.
Delivery times vary from 1 to 4 business days for domestic deliveries according to Posti. Things delighted is not responsible for possible delays while the parcel is in transport by Posti.
The storage period for packages picked up from Posti or Posti service point is indicated when you receive the message that your order is ready for collection. If the shipment returns to us undelivered, we will charge 10€ for sending it again.
International shipping
We currently offer international shipping to selected countries. Available destinations will be shown at checkout. If your country is not listed, please feel free to contact me before placing your order and we will do our best to assist.
Shipping costs for international orders are €25 unless otherwise stated at checkout.
For international orders, please note that customs duties, taxes, and any additional fees imposed by your country are the responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost, and we are unable to estimate or control them.
Things delighted is not responsible for delays caused by customs or postal services, nor for any additional charges incurred during delivery.
Return policy
I hope that you love your Things delighted pieces, but in case you're not completely happy you can notify me by emailing nina@thingsdelighted.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Please specify your name, order number, and which products you wish to return.
The right of return only applies to unused and unworn items. If there are tags they must be in place at the time of return. If the product is sealed, do not open the seal if you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. The right of return is not valid for custom-made items (items made after the customer's specifications).
The product(s) has to be delivered back no later than 14 days after the day you have informed us of your wish to return items. When possible, please use the original packaging for shipping. The refund will be made immediately after the product arrives to Things delighted. Please note that the customer is fully responsible for the costs of returning a defect-free product.
At this moment we cannot accept exchanges so we kindly ask you to make a return and place a new order if you wish to change a product to a different one.
Product information, prices and payments
When placing an order, the prices are as indicated at the time of purchase. All prices are listed in euros (€) and include Finnish VAT (25.5%). Delivery costs are not included in the product price and are shown separately at checkout.
For customers within the EU, VAT is charged according to Finnish regulations. For orders outside the EU, VAT may still be included at checkout depending on webshop settings. Please note that any local taxes, customs duties or handling fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
Things delighted reserves the right to final sale of all products, as well as the right to correct errors and update product descriptions, images and pricing when necessary.
If an incorrect price has been specified for an ordered product, Things delighted will notify you and wait for the corrected price to be accepted before the order is considered confirmed.
We accept payments from all major debit and credit cards as well as Apple Pay on supported devices and browsers.
All available payment methods are presented at checkout. Things delighted reserves the right to remove or change available payment methods if a chosen method is unavailable at the time of purchase.
All payments are processed securely through our payment provider.
Complaints
We take great care in making every Things delighted piece to the highest quality, and we hope you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Since our items are handmade, no two are exactly alike, ano they may feature small "imperfections." These are a natural part of the handmade process and do not indicate that the product is faulty.
However, if the product you received is defective or incomplete, please contact us by email as soon as you notice the issue. We will provide you with instructions on how to proceed. Please refrain from using a defective or incomplete product. Our priority is always to replace the item with a new one whenever possible.
